The shadings of the purple are unmistakeable and almost magical in their finishing
The Velvet geometrics emerge from the fabric in a very subtle way.

It is a Single Slimline jacket with rounded edges that can be worn with simple black
The entire body of the jacket is edged in a patterned ribbon edging of larger swirls
Or perhaps Avant Garde Flowers and Leabes
Jacket is very Long 38" from Neckline in back to the hemline
Rounded edges around the front creating a curved tuxedo look
The draped frame of the jacket falls beautifully in the front & forms a Deep Vee at the decolletage

Vee closure is a large Black Passementerie button which is hooked for closure underneath the edging

Sandra Sakata, born in Watsonville, California, is an American Fashion Designer.
As one of the originators of the ART TO WEAR Fashion movement, her boutique, OBIKO, founded in the mid-1970's.
featured One-of-a-kind designs of mostly SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA designers.
She inspired these designers to produce jewelry, hand knits, woven fabrics,
and hand dyed silk inspired by ethnic influences
Worldwide, that are symbols of the Art-To-Wear movement.
these designs were included at the flagship store, located on Sutter Street near Union Square.
Later, Obiko expanded to New York city. Some of their creations are now in museums.
