For Fall 2011, he returned to his more familiar territory,
finding inspiration in the work of the twentieth-century architects and interior designers
Pierre Chareau and Eileen Gray.
What he came up with was essentially a collection of shirts, jackets, and coats,
with simple leather pants or jersey leggings acting as an easel upon which his canvases,
with all of their flourishes, could be displayed.
the neckline of a Nubby Wool Jacket embroidered with a bib of tonal crystals & Edged in Jet
They were the picture of restraint, except for their Art Deco necklines.
Gn's Fall collection had an eighteenth-century look, albeit with a twenty-first-century spin.
He called it "modern rococo."

Here is a very elegant and understated short boxy jacket of Gray & Black Nubby Tweed
31% Cotton, 27% Wool, 21% Pes (Angora), and 21% Viscose.
Zipper Front Closure and 3/4 Length Inset Sleeves
The front panels and around the collar are inlaid with a dimensional hematite tiny beading
Framing the hematite are long slender rows of Shiny Jet Bugle Beads
Although this is beaded, the glitter is subtle and the tweed will take you through daytime without a second thought.
Fully lined in Black Viscose
